Baltimore car meets are few and far between:

Used to go to Muscle Car meets on Belair Road just north of 695. WalMart parking lot. Cops shut it down years ago.
East Baltimore county. Home Deport on Pulaski Highway. Cops used to clear parking lot at midnight. Now they will not even let you park.
Golden Ring Mall on Pulaski Highway. Too much fighting.

The car scene is not for me.

2. All car clubs are either unorganized or organized but filled with snobs (Yes NZC and NGC are included. No exclusion here!)

I dont know if I would use the word snobs, however I do feel that 90% of these "car people" cant stand 2 minutes on their own without their cars. The car should just be in addition to being a cool dude.

Unfortunately you get dorks and nerds that make a shizzil load of money, then go out and buy the latest and greatest gadget(s) iPhone,iPad,PS360, Droid tablet or whip (aka Car) now they are semi cool? NOT, im that guy that calls the BS flag.

really, think about it. take away the Carbon Fiber, turbos, superchargers, and 4500 rim and tire package. Whats left?

My circle is so small a dime engulfs it.

True Friend and Dedicated Car people FTW. I dont care if its Rustang (I traded one for my G) or a CTSV, even a SRT4 (sorry JB). I love ALL cars....better yet, anything with a fregging motor.

IT Nerds in DC, with paper trying to look cool in a world of grease monkeys.

I cant beleive folks run 400RWHP and blow motors due to no oil in them!

REALLY!?!?

Question

Ill post this here. Its in VA so most of the MD folks wont come.

But I have access to a privately owned lot. its and old Kmart lot. I can easily get folks to come and since I know the owner, we could have a safe haven, however if ONE **** acts up. It will hold about 500 cars!

this group doesnt NOT EVER approach the person, kick them out, or beat dat azz for doing donuts and shizzil.

so to legally enforce that. I need to make it a membership/club, that spins back to bbs point #2.
I have had access to this lot for about 9 months now. I just dont know if I can trust people when I am not there. Id hate to have the owner call me and say that someone was doing donuts or acting dumb if I were not there.

so that pushes me to be there when we have meets there, which defeats the point of a safe haven that any group could go any day of the week after a certain time (shopping and him making money on the mini mall it is now is first).

just throwing it out there to see what the community thinks about such?

was thinking of having some sort of registration/picture/license plate deal to track dumbazzes so they would be in fear BEFORE they acted dumb.

Hey it happens to the best, when your DD suddenly starts consuming a **** ton of oil out of nowhere. I know an N/A guy who just had this happen on a long road trip. He sucked it up, rebuilt and is already back to the track spraying a month later LOL. It's all about how you handle it and especially whether you're truly able to pay to play the mod game.

I know for sure if my motor goes pop I'm gonna be out for a while, but I got backup whips plus nowhere to go anyways LOL.

shiiitttt... my motor started "drinking" water for no reason. Well at least that's what I was told by "the shop" and the buddy of the shop owner. And had to replace the small block. $5,000 later the car's back on the road making exactly the same power. Thank you warranty! Or should I say the non-effective warranty?

And you wonder why I never shop nut hug!?

my point was, if you build a racecar. anything over 350RWHP is a race car, lets face it. the new 5.0 stang is a racecar. you should at least have the knowledge to check the oil. im not talking about NA cars that consume oil. I blew up an NA car and got a block under warantee. Im just saying if you dont understand turbos, piping, oil, the basic, dont pay 10K for a FI build.

I cant believe how many non technical people build beast! It doesnt make sense to me at all.

WOW... so much drama. I actually enjoy seeing the people I talk to on the forum a few times a year at meets here and there. I've met all of you on here once or twice and everyone seems friendly enough

If anyone ever wanted to drive up to PA, I can make sure we don't get kicked out of a parking lot (I pay rent and if you are invited as my guests/customers the landlord can't cry) and we could do some backroad cruises (not put your car in a ditch ot tree LNRs).

We could also meet up just over the PA line and roll an hour north to the casino

So many questions....

I would have macked his ex taken pictures and videos of her and shared with everyone, however I would have been up front with e10 and he would get first dibs on the content.

Shin and clay both hate black people. Duh.

I'll have a party anytime you want. Give me the word. Just keep in mind parking is limited mostly to curb parking and one or two zs show up so the z isn't really needed.

Shops selling n00bs on F/I with improper tunes, no supporting mods, with promises of warranties flowers and roses BS doesn't help. At least we don't have to worry about that as much now. We need to edumicate and look out for each other instead of nuthugging.

Ejumacating noobs on FI stuff is like giving Shin good advice. No matter how much you try to help, they clearly already know what's up.
