in order to be initiated into the Mid-A to hangout w/ the real crowd @ the real meets, the requirements are:

1. be able to down a bottle of Aftershock, and NOT puke/pass-out. Drinking is mandatory for new members
2. tip well @ the bars
3. if you're N/A, you gotta run low 13's
4. if you're FI (this is a requirement within 1 yr of ownership) 500+whp is average. The only exception to the rule is if you can pull a killer time @ AutoX'ing
5. have thick skin

Nothing wrong with being 19 and saving up and paying $25-35k for a z like most of the ogs did. Hell, I was 20 when I got mine. The problem is the 350z is the civic of today. You get people buying them for $12-15k and hardly being able to keep up with the payments

That's when you get nickel tips, toe less shoes and ABC style diets.

I along with most OG's have no desire to meet anyone new. Especially when they are young. 5hin ruined it for any new guys....OP if you take out 5hin you get a chance.

Well, most people in the mid a either no longer drive their zs or got tired of the kids and sold their zs.

There's lots of people who want to hang out, sadly they are now between the age of 18-20 and their idea of hanging out is hitting up a parking lot somewhere.

Most of the guys here that met on a reg basis do things, from get togethers at each others houses, shooting, riding mountian bikes, riding motorcycles. However most people don't bother with the cars anymore. The screne was awesome back in the day, now it's pretty weak. Personally I'd rather drive my car than to meet up and sit next to it.

I think Alberto is onto something, if you take manthatcantbenamed out you will earn a chance to come to one of our up coming crab or oyster feast.

Any of you guys other than Alberto into the idea of getting a bushel of oysters and firing up the grill for some burgers, steaks or some kind if grilled meat?
