Default Need a Fix : Interior Door Switch Panels are Scratched to All Hell

*blows dust of My350Z account*

Well, gentlemen, looks like I'll be finally parting ways with my beloved "Miracle Whip" ... I picked this one up in '08 and have thoroughly enjoyed it every freaking day! Me and that car are bros!!!

Anyways, must move onward and forward to more boring vehicles, so I'm looking to fix my interior door paneling that is notorious for being scratched to death. I tried this once but to no avail (some guy with a Z said he'd wrap it but ended up saying he couldn't ... would been better if he'd told me before that long as$ drive to Bmore though).

Does anyone have a fix or replacement part by chance??? I'd be replacing / fixing both. If you know of any solution, please post here and I'll heart you forever.

Z bros fo' lyfe heh.

I think blue bat makes vinyl covers in stock colors, fake carbon, etc. Take your time applying it and it will look good as new. I know for sure he makes covers for the pieces on the steering wheel around the cruise control.

I painted my drivers side, looks good. Found a write up somewhere on the web. Used vinyl spray paint I think?

use a lighter to lightly melt the plastic. Scratches will slowly fade, just take your time. Learned this from my mechanic friend who's been in the industry for over a decade. Sometimes, he gouges the F' out of customer's dashes by accident. Lighter trick = they never knew the difference.
