Not as many computer geeks in Hampton Roads as there are in C.MD/N.VA. I lived in the Columbia area before getting assigned down here. The Navy classifies my career field as information warfare, but I am currently working in network defense/security at the Navy Computer Incident Response Team.

I think I'm the only on here who is not a computer geek (although my job pertains to IT and financial and budget systems)...

There are a lot of geeks here, no doubt, but I believe we also have a healthy represenation of biologists on the forum. Which frankly, is a little strange. lol

Kiddie **** would be more considered jail time worthy. Unfortunately we turn over a number of these cases to NCIS too frequently. One is too many as far as I'm concerned. I don't the exact number per year that is handled strictly against Navy users.

At the previous DOD office I worked at, we had no access to anything other than Google, Washingtonpost, and the weather. That's it. I'm glad I'm working offsite for the time being...

Diablesse, you're not alone in the world of biology. I'm a microbiologist. How do we have so many IT nerds here? No wonder you guys are posting all day long.
