Default Suspension Setup

For those that have autocrossed. What type of suspension setup are you running. Do you use springs, sway bars, strut bars, coilovers?

If you are using coilovers what type of coilovers and what settings are you on for best performance?

Have you found if sway bars have helped or hindered under and oversteer?

Thanks for the responses!

I'm going to my second ever AutoX tomorrow. Needless to say, I'm running completely stock at this time. I definitely noticed the understeer at my first AutoX, but I haven't done anything to try and compensate for it. I will eventually go to 245's all around instead of the stock 225 in front and 245 in back. That may help a bit, but I think that to really solve the understeer problem one would need to go to a stiffer rear anti-roll bar and/or get an adjustable upper A-arm to add negative camber to the front. Unfortunately, as I understand the rules, either of those mods would bump you out of stock classes, whereas the tire change wouldn't.

Tomorrow I may try to lower the front air pressure to 32 instead of 35, but I haven't decided yet.

Eventually I'll probably get the Stoptech Big Brake kit, which will knock me out of any stock class, and at that point I may decide to go nuts with mods. For the short term however, I'm not really changing much.

Oh yeah, I will also eventually get lightweight rims with race tires, but that's a ways off as well.

For the record, I have a Performance Z.
