Hey guys - made some improvements to my camera mount design, here's the latest prototype. I'll post some video this weekend.
All in all it's much better than the old one - it now bolts down in 3 spots, forming a much more stable base. It's also taller, which means I dont have to add an extension like I did before that was causing some shaky-cam.
Also, it extends forwarrd a bit, allowing for the carpet to lie nearly flat when its installed.

Yeah I may sell some, it will likely be a limited amount as I dont have the tools myself to make them. I may be able to convince my "friend with tools" to help me make a batch, but it will likely be a batch of 10 that I'd sell on a first-come first-serve basis.

 

Also, before anyone asks, the 3 points where it bolts to the car are existing, threaded 6mm bolt holes - no drilling needed.
I put some felt on the bottom of it as well to keep it from scratching anything.

question tho, i've heard that a camera mount in that location picks up alot of wind noise, especially when the windows are down during a track day. comments?
