Default Launch help needed from any experts!

Alright I need a little help with my launch. I went to a stright away today..came to a complete stop, rev'ed to about 2,500 with the clutch completely pressed in, released the clutch completely and waited about 1 second, then floored it, but I had about 1 second of spin on the tires. How do I eliminate that spin and get a better grip? I've gotton good *** launches a few times, but I don't exactly what I did to get them. Any advice would be appericated.

Maybe the road you were launching on had horrilbe traction, you never know. Im not an expert on launching so I cant really help you but from what Ive heard its good to launch at 1.5-2k rpm.

I dont really care too much for the 1/4 mile, its all about the curves on the track.

You get your best launch if it is around 1500rpm. Then you need to feather out the clutch....don't just drop it and hammer, that will just give you needless tire wear.. I have a Gtech and I have gotten my 0-60 time down to 5.35 seconds using this method, however I do get tire spin up to around 4000rpm , this is when I usually hook up. Hope this helps????
