Default Took on an Audi S4 this weekend - many good runs

I went down to Philly this weekend to race with my buddy who has a 2000 or 2001, Audi S4. (My 350Z Touring is completely stock as is his vehicle). We raced just outside the Airport during the afternoon where I guess on weekend nights, hundreds of cars get together and street race.

Anyway, we had several good runs and got up to about 125 on our best races. Basically, my buddy had me off the line by about half a car length, but by the time we reached 65 or 70, I began to pull away every time. This seemed to be the pattern most of the time. I was trying to launch at about 2500 (which is what most people on this site seem to recommend) and had the VDC off. However, his launches were always a lot cleaner than mine, probably due to his AWD system and his tires not slipping as much as mine. My driving skills leave a lot to be desired, but it was a lot of fun.
