19 x 11's = 14.7 E.T.?
I was at the track last weekend in Sacramento. Did 3 runs and all of them E.T. 14.75. Could it be the wheels? My reaction times are between .64-.81 , 60ft between 6.4-6.6 , trap between 96-97 mph. There's a base model there also running low 14's consistently.
My car dynoed at 248 rwhp.

19s mean you're running a pretty low profile tire, which means not much of a sidewall, which means your tires don't have much give when it comes to spinning. It could very easily be the wheels that are slowing you down. If you ever watch any pro drag racing, you'll see how the rear tires they have "wrinkle" like mad when the take off--because they use a tire with a large sidewall and have very little air in them, comparitively speaking. It's one of the big things that helps them get traction off the line.

60' times are 6.4 - 6.6!!!!!!!!!!! Is that a typo?? I think you mean 2.4 - 2.6.. Your 60' should be at 2.0 or less.. That is why you ran soo slow.. What kind of tires do you have and what are the dementions??

More tire doesn't necessarily mean a faster car, whether it be at the drag strip or on a road course. I don't think the Z has enough power to manage more than 275 competitively in the rear, but if you have a supercharger (or a lot of N/A power), then the factors change drastically...

Your 60ft's are killing you. I've been told that for every .1 you shave off your 60ft it totals .2 in the 1/4. I went from a 14.1 with a 2.3 60ft. to a 13.7 with a 2.1 60ft in my wagon back before the motor build.

Arvin,
I think you were at infineon last wendsday. my 60' were 2.203 (1/4-14.332/97.98) and 60' 2.189 (1/4-14.322/98.13)
I am running 17's with the stock potenzas and an auto. I think you saw my last race. he turned 92.42 and i turned 98.43. he beat me on reaction time, but i was catchiing him quickly by the end.
I know there is a lot of disagreement about tire sizes and racing, but I'm staying with the 17's
i think I should turn under 14 with some more practice. it has been many years since i have done any of this and it was always with a stick. I think the 19's are a lot to get moving, but i love the hell out of the way they look.

My baseline was at 235 rwhp. I dynoed with the wheels, headers and exhaust only. I've heard also that you lose power with the Injen CAI. I have dyno graphs if you want me to post it. I
