Why?

How many stroked NA VQs have you seen? and how many fully built Cosworth motors have you also seen to even be able to make comparisons between the two? Let alone be able to say one is better than the other?

edit: youre an idiot. i'm not gonna argue lol, I'm not and expert, but neither are you. AEM engine management is a pretty weak alternative, the fuel system will be fine, and stroking and keeping the stock bore just doesnt make sense to me. what mathematics are you talking about anyhow? from what IVE HEARD from Z1 naturally aspirated power on VQ's is pretty dependant on high-revs, and stroking it all the way out is gonna make it pretty hard to rev it out. i'd suggest watching kwame's build and seeing what he has to say when hes done.

I see a kid (assuming here, but its not much of a stretch) with what appears to be a stock (minus a cone air filter, lol) VQ35 and a completely misleading thread title and OP.

Just another thread making a mockery of the NA Builds subsection.

Dammit, scared him away too fast. This could have been fun to string along. Oh well.

By now you realize that you should have titled your thread "Stroked G35 Build-UP" if you actually have one. The question then becomes why did you not build-up the engine when you swapped out the crankshaft and pistons? Swapping out a crankshaft is a fairly expensive mod. I would think you would consider the "building" aspect when you swapped the crankshaft and other assorted parts.

At the end of the day you have only succeeded in fueling the NA-Forum haters... Maybe you are one in disguise... Very disappointing.

I think this thread is finished.

FYI to the OP - when you try to ******** people who are alot smarter than you, pay more attention to the details. Among your mistakes? A VQ37 doesnt have 87mm stroke, and in your pictures, you don't have a VQ37 block.

Anyone want to help on my new project? I'm converting my car to run on woodchips. I plan on using a turbo to speed up the burn process....

Sorry Adam, we already have that in the works and a patent on the Woodchip injection technology.
