So yes I've done a search and I can assume you nobody has done what I'm thinking about possibly trying. I need someone with a lot of knowledge when it comes to itb setups to answer a few questions for me. Maybe my idea won't work but if it does then I found a way cheaper way to run an itb setup. Might just be alittle more work but still work be a lot cheaper. And yes it would still be good quality.
So I just thought of an idea. Buy these throttle bodies, used s54 throttles for sale for $300.Then 3d print an adapter from those throttles to your lower intake manifold. If that would actually work it would cost a lot less all said and done than going with the jenvy kit. Anyone have any input as to why this wouldn't work? Please no trolls or saying this is a dumb idea. Explain why it wouldn't work if you don't think it will.
Only real issue I see is packaging, the S54 is very long, our engines are much shorter. Our lower intake is basically runners touching each other. Yes and adapter could be made/printed but I feel that to get that long ITB setup to fit under the hood would be a real mission. There is almost zero clearance from the top of the plenum to the bottom of the hood, you would need an airbox of some form over those ITBs, and I just don't see the space.

inline 6 vs v6...our cylinders are much closer together. The TB need to lay more horizontal to clear the hood. ECU is tuned on a MAF, you will need a custom plenum.
3d printed plastic...how long will that hold up.

The hood clearance I'm not crazy concerned about I'd figure that out later on down the road. And if I'm on a standalone the maf wouldn't be an issue. The obx wouldn't be as good quality as this could be and it would be around the same price to get it going. My buddy who works with 3D printing says it should hold just fine? I don't know anything about that stuff tho?
