I just found this forum as I was trying to hunt up info on the car. It was an impulse purchase-from-hell that I didn't really expect, but I'm disgustingly happy about it.

Oh, it's not going to be my car. The Quest was mine, but I'll be getting my wife's 98 Pathfinder SE 4x4 and the Z will be hers for work. (I take the kids to school, I need the seats. )

Still, I like the 5-speed in the Pathfinder a whole lot better than the boredom of the automatic that was the Quest. I never actually liked the Quest. Nothing against the vehicle as it was a killer mini-van, but it was still a mini-van and I just dinnit like it.

I love the Pathfinder and have since we bought it new, and I now am just still in shock that we have a Z350 out front that I have gotten to cruise around in for a few hours after putting the kids to bed...and it bloody rocks. 8)

Sorry for the lengthy babble, but if'n I'm gonna blather on about how great I feel about getting a Z I figure this is the place to do it.

 

congrats. now put some miles on her so you can rip her apart after break in.

 

Oh shoot, I forgot I should take it easy and break her in nice....

I still can't believe it, this is sooo kewl. I don't feel at all mid-life crisissy (I'm 38, me wife is 36) but it sure feels like a mid-life crisissy kind of thing to do.

Awful fun though.

edited bits: I goofed formatting trying to insert a smiley image, went back and tried to fix but gave up and substituted one of this sites smileys. (I'm a bit weird that way, same with including this whole "edited bits" thing. VB3, whatcha gonna do. :roll: )
