Hey i need some help. How can I put up pics beside my name? Like the one you have that says..shift_norcal Thanks.

Go to Control Panel > Edit Options > (scroll down) Avatar

Click on Change Avatar. You'll need to upload an avatar that meets both pixel and file size limitations.
