Just bought my first Z. Its a 06 base 6M, std options. To be honest this also my first taste of the import world. Previous car was 2001 Dodge Neon that I turbo'd and put down 410whp on 2.0 sohc, car was hard to drive and became very unreliable over time. Was driving a 2k3 cavalier beater around for the past 8 months. Finally decided to test a Z out and I'm happy with my choice, I going to try not to mod it for a while but i dont' see that happening.

 

The car is going to handle a whole bunch better then that Dodge. If you go turbo and keep it mild you're be more than happy with the power too.

 

Congratz, especially on finding a base model. If I could do it all over again that is the trim level I would get.

Thanks guys, now the question is how long does it take before I want boost again.

 

depends how much $$$ you have to spend and how much power you want. If you want a BEAST you will need to build that bottom end thus needing more $$$$.
