Default buying a car in the winter VS. the summer.........

people usually say its better to buy a sports car in the winter cause they are generally cheaper in the winter because if snow and bad weather..what i wanna know....is there any evidence that backs this claim up???cause im gonna be buyin a 350 soon but i gotta save a few more thousand up....but i was thinkin if i would get a better deal now durin the winter then waiting till the summer to buy it......

Buy towards end of the month. (Dealers are trying to meet monthly sales quota)

Or previous year model. Example...it's 2006 and there are still few new 2005 models left.

Yes, "summer car's" like the Z (Thats how their viewed by the general public) do sell for a tad less during the cold winter months. It depends on where you live (or plan on buying her from)

I think when people say you get a better deal during the winter refers to the bargaining aspect of it all. You could probably talk you way down from MSRP/Invoice then you could if it were summer.

Yes, I've done it before (with used cars) and there is certainly a difference.

Buy a vehicle when demand is low. The proof is self-evident. Park a 350Z in front of your house when there is 6-inches of snow on the ground. See how many potential buyers stop by.
