Default About to buy - here to say hi

Hi All!

I'm about to buy a Z within the next couple of weeks and have been doing research. I wasn't going to register until I purchased but I need the search feature so I registered and thought I'd say hi.

I'm not buying brand new, I'm going to get either an '04 or '05. Through my extensive research and all the members of the board offering their advice, I'm confident in purchasing a used Z and I know what questions to ask and what to look for. I haven't decided on a color just yet but I LOVE the silver but I'm pretty fond of the pearl and red, too....And the black and the blue.... The car I own at the moment is the only automatic I've ever owned so I'm thinking I'm going back to MT. It's just my preference.

I owned a white '91 300Z back in the day and I've never gotten over selling it. I figured it is high time I got me another one and there is no time like the present! I'm waiting for my house to close (this Friday) then I'm ready to make my purchase! I'll become more active in the community once I've made my purchase.

I'll try not to ask too many "dumb blonde" questions but I'm still getting familiar with the Nissan motor and all the terminology used on the board. Some things are way over my head but I'm willing to learn, I just need a little explanation sometimes.

See you guys in the forum!

Hi there / welcome!

Have fun, and choose your color carefully!

Oh yeah, and if you are indeed a female (don't worry, there are plenty of females on the boards) try to ignore the barrage of "internet leg-humping" that you are bound to get.

For example, a woman posted a thread in the 350Z main forum saying "I'm a girl, can you help me?" ...something to that effect.

Then comes a tidal wave of hundreds of posts - a bunch of random pic requests, people trying to get to know her better, etc, people offering advice... basicaly lots of hormones seeping out of the woodwork. I don't know why this happens on internet forums, but it probably has something to do with the fact that the majority of the members are men / boys

Just step up to the plate, don't fear the leg humpers, try not to be fazed The resident females on this forum let it just roll off their backs.
