Default VERY near future owner ...

I think I'm on the verge of purchasing a 350Z. I've been doing a lot of research lately, and I've ruled my next vehicle down to either a 350Z, an RX-8, or a Lancer Evo. It'll be a daily driver, but I need a sports car. After test driving all three, several times, they're all a lot of fun - however the 350Z just stands out above the rest, to me. I've spent countless hours trolling this forum, as well as enthusiast forums for the other cars. The 8 is fun and sexy, but I'm afraid of the service issues that come along with driving such proprietary engineering. The Lancer Evo's handling and low end torque are a lot of fun to hammer on, but the style of that car is just ... well ... it doesn't appeal to me From my test drives of the 350, for a true sports car it seems to have the best of all worlds.

I found a Z today at my local dealership, a 2004 base 350Z. 26k miles. The sticker on it is 24,999 - I negotiated it down to 22k. I need until next week to make the purchase, but if the car is still there, I think I might take the plunge. I love the raw power of low end torque.

Anyways, thought I'd introduce myself. Whether the one comes through next week, or another in the next few weeks, I'm pretty excited that I've pretty much made my choice. So howdy everybody.

I own'd both an Evo and 350z at the same time. I modded the Evo right away while my 350 stayed classy and stock. The Evo is a mean dominating power house of a car. It tore my little 350 to pieces, then i ran into financial trouble and had to sell one. I listed both for sale and the Evo sold for more than i paid for it in less than 24 hours of sitting along side the road. Now, a year later, i still have the 350 and have since gone with the Greddy Twins. Now it's sexy AND fast (fealt soooooo slow after owning an Evo). I still see the mitsu from time to time around town and can't wait to line up next to it at a light one day.
Anyway, if you go with the Z or an Evo, you wont be disapointed. The RX-8 is garbage IMO.

Miles seem kind of high for an 05.

Why not splurge on an 06 and get peace of mind, NEW!

Get a new one. Dealers should be giving good prices.
