Hey this is Bill, from Burlington NC. I finally bit the bullet last week and got the toy i have been wanting for a few years. I currently was employed at a Nissan store for a couple years when the 350 first came out...loved them!! but as we all know, they had their share of mishaps that had to be worked out before I bought one. Long story short and one totalled Maxime SE, I now have a 05 Blue Z w/ the chrome 18" rims. Love the car so far...and I do notice some of the old problems... ie: Front tire chop. Regardless, I knew about the stuff going into so no worries there.
I am already a SCCA memeber so eventually I would like to get a little bit more involved with that. I know they have a SSB and a T2 class but do any of you run in them? I have been all thru the GCR so I know the rules but just wondering what kind of mods you have in those classes. VIR is only a few mins. from my folks place and the owners along with a few Pace car drivers are family friends so heading out there is a breeze. Just don't know a lot about the classes.
Also looking for some active area clubs that actually do things and get together in mass. I know about Triangle Z Club and heard of one other. Are these clubs pretty active and have good attendance? How many new model Z's are in them???
I know I know... alot of random questions for this thread but figured it would be one BIG intro instead.
Take care and hope to meet some of ya soon!!
