Pulled the trigger on an '06 Enthusiast Roadster
It took longer than I had hoped but I'm now driving a new Silverstone '06 Enthusiast Roaster 6MT. Picked it up Thursday night (figures it would be raining the first weekend I have the car so photos will have to follow).
Reasonable price but by no means extraordinary. $250 over invoice. Could have gone to So. Cal. for a larger selection but the time and effort would have eaten into the savings.
Was told to give it 1200 miles break in on the engine and to stay at 4Krpm or below. Guess I'm spending the next couple weekends taking roadtrips and the home projects will have to wait.
First on the list is replacing the factory stereo. Suggestions are welcome, I'm in the San Jose area. Not interested in something to compete with my home system, just a quality, competent solution. Then I'll look at wheels and a few other tweaks.
See ya on the road!
