Default Yup, I'm new too.

We just picked up my wife’s 350 tonight. She traded her 06 Honda Ridgeline for an 05 350Z 35th Anniversary Edition with 2,600 miles.

We also have a Magnum SRT8 heavily modified so this will be our new project.

I'm ready to take care of all the basics for now. Any recommendations? Exhaust, tune, CAI, etc.

In the meantime I'll be doing a lot of research on this forum.

I have got to say I love my SRT8 but the Z was A LOT of fun to drive. It only took me 15-minutes to get comfortable with the feel of the car to start drifting around corners and fishtailing all over the place. Don't worry, closed course.

I can't wait to get some more power out of this thing to see what she can really do.

EDIT: (here's a quick picture. I know, I know, they all look alike.)

Taking a bit of time to get used to the color. It's bright!

Here's the SRT. More pictures of the motor, etc., available if you'd like to see them. Let me know.

404rwhp. That was right after my motor was rebuilt with no tune. (http://srt8blog.com/Z/dyno_no_tune.jpg)

I have the tune now. I'm thinking with the tune I should be around the 420's/rwhp.

Going for a cam next week, and the nitrous install. I'll be running a 150-shot. Based off a friend’s numbers I should be just shy of 575rwhp with the juice.

We'll see what I do at the track next month.

Because she's not interested in learning about the mods, etc. She just wants to drive and have fun. That and the fact that I just spent an hour with this thread, and 3-hours prior reading a bunch of other topics.

Good enough?

Oh congratZ on the cool 35th. Pity there weren't more available in yellow. Happy driving, haha, I bet the wife is, and keep us posted on the mods.
