Probably the most daring color Nissan will ever paint a car. Beautiful! I'm still holding out hope for an emerald green with that metal flake.

 

I still havent decided if i love or hate that color.. But who cars.. Its a Z.. Congrats.. Im a new owner also and it definately kicks the crap out of christmas day..

 

It might be a love it or hate it color. I preferred it mainly because I don't like to pass another car like mine on the road, ya know? If the production numbers are true, then I don't think it will be a problem! Thanks for the "congrats" from all of you. Now...where's the road course!

Congrats! There is nothing like the feeling of getting THAT kind of ride!! DO be aware that the color makes you a target for everybody! I got Daytona Blue and i'm being zapped on a daily basis by laser!!!! Eventhough, a dark green minivan is raging at 80mph right beside me! I sticks out in parking lots as well. i routinely find teenagers hanging around my car when i park it. Dont park it at the mall!! Most high theft autos are pilferred at the mall or at a street location where they are parked on a regular basis. Change things up a bit. park in plain view of EVERYBODY!!!

We have signed contract couples of weeks ago only to find out that our favorite Le Mans Sunset has been discontinued. No info on the new colours here in Australia, no brochures, no cars. First shipment of 07 models is due at the end of March.

First impression of Solar Orange I found on the net was too-o-o bright. And we decided not to chose it straight away. It took us (me and my wife) 10 days tossing between Blue and two silver colours. But the orange was burning at the backgound all this time.

Today I ran into this thread and showed the photos to my wife. And she's agreed - this is the one.

Glad the pictures helped...but wait until you see it person- and it has to be in the sunlight- to get the full effect. It is admittedly bright, but when the sun hits it, it is beautiful. Everyone on here has been so complimentary...just makes me that much happier about my selection!

Question though....anyone know if you can open the headlights? I ask because I would like a black wheel on this car (had them on my Ram and my 66 Caprice), but with the door handles and inside of the headlights currently the same color as my current wheels, I don't want it to look bad. If I go with black wheels, I'd like to have black door handles and black inside the headlights. However, I really want the car to keep it's value, so I may end up buying a second set of headlights and handles that I can put back on. Anyway...you know if this headlight deal is possible?

As of today! I traded my '04 PPW Roadster (blue top) in on it. It is beautiful! As far as the color, I agree with others who say that it needs sunlight. It also looks great under really bright fluorescent or halogen lights. I am very pleased with it!
