I bought a New 06 Base model with a Nismo kit installed by the Dealership WOO HOO I have had it for just a little over a month. I have only owned one other vehicle a 2000 S10 I bought it my senior year of high school, this is a very big change for me. I have been just sittin back reading the forums since the day after I bought the car. I live in the Tampa Bay area and look forward to meeting some of the folks in the area

I don't know I thought it was kinda crazy that they left it off but rest assured it will be there, just trying to figure out exactly what direction I want to go with it before I do anything. I want to do all the body work at once like molding the back body kit pieces and shaving the handles all at once, The Tint is a little decieving because of the angle and the low light that day it is actually 35 but that too will change Thanks for all the welcomes though. This picture should show the tint a little better and you may be able to see what I was talking about with the rear body kit pieces

nismo do not make front lip for a 06 z yet, but aftermarket does

 

Oh yea, doesn't look like you have an 06 bumper - are you sure it's an 06?!

Edit: nvm, i see the little chin dimple...did they promise you a nismo lip? because like solar said there's no nismo lip for the 06's yet...at least not real ones.

 

looks like since there is no nismo lip for the 06 they gave ya a billet grill lol. .....

 

yeah it is an 06 I have want to carbon fiber the complete front end fenders, hood, and front clip. The hardest thing for me right now is to try and be patient. But I want to make sure I do everything right the first time. I am going to tent all the lights in the next couple weeks.

 

Are all 06s Rev Ups? How do you determine if it is a revup?

 

If your redline is marked at 7k on the tach, it's a rev-up!

yea dead give away is the side markers and the lights. But yea your kit looks wierd for some reason. Im guessing they gave u nismo sides etc. But they really didnt give ya a nismo Z since that wouldve entaled the stune suspension and parts. I have seen 2 nismo editions at dealerships one is the s tune and one is a stillen sc version that dealers are selling . But hey good start that front bumper looks hella odd without a lip though and that kit.

and did they put on Nismo Air Intake and Nismo Cat back ? Mod it up !!!
