I'm dropping an Ls7 into my Z as soon as hinson releases the kit so I know I'm keeping my Z for a long time. I'd still check the forums every now and then.

The best I could get from my parents for a car was a loan at 2% above going rates. And, I was thankful for the opportunity.

i totally lucked out in the parental dept and i'm fully aware of it.. they've paid for entirely too much throughout the years [tuition and rent throughout college...] and i'm forever grateful and they know it. my parents aren't rich/wealthy, they were immigrants that worked their asses off, and still do, and never wanted my sister and i to struggle the way they have.


dammit, now i'm making myself feel bad for when i've been less-than-nice to them.

Doesn't sound like you have any reason to feel bad. Both you and your parents sound thankful.

 

and that is hard to do. When I was 17(back in 1993). I had to work, pay for my insurance on my 1988 Pontiac Sunfire POS( pay for it myself), pay rent, food and the works. I was living by myself because my parents couldn't afford to have me there. On top of going to school. Then here comes this a$$hole rubbing this **** around like is okay to be silver spoon fed, while 99% of us use our hard earned $ to have our cars then expect us to be okay with it? Freaking ***** will never have any appreciation for a thing and will treat people like an ant under a magnifying glass if he keeps being treated that way.

ok where i work u have to get a minimum of 24 hours a week... so i get about 30... and i get time and a half every sunday bc the company is closed on holidays... and its always 8 hours on sunday that everyone works... so im getting about 550 every other week (after taxes)... so $1100 a month

now...
phone - $20 bc i am on family plan
gym - $35 bc it was a family special
insurance - $100 a month is what my parents are making me pay
car payment is actually going to be $350 a month for 3 years instead...
and paying an additional $100 a month for 2 years on the car
also putting $125 into savings each month

$1100 - $20 - $35 - $100 - $350 - $125 - $100 = $370 left for whatever

so it is possible...

oh and i changed my username for all of u that were hating...

 

didnt you say that your parents pay for it all? what hell is with all these payments....

and 2nd of all i dont think ull get helpful ideas or anything from members from the start of your posts...
