Talking New Z in PA

I have wanted one ever since I saw it on display at the New York Auto show in 2003. I bought one this January. I live in PA. The day I drove it out of the dealers, it snowed. There was an inch of pure snow covering the road. The Z fishtailed no matter how slow I was going. I stopped the car and waited until the roads were cleared. It has been in the garage until the sun came out and the roads were cleaned from all that salt and crap.

I am having too much fun. The hardest thing for me was the burn-in period. The car wanted to go faster than what I was putting it through. Once that break-in was done. The Z loved me and I loved it back.

The only thing that is upsetting me is getting rid of all the bug guts now that I can go a little faster. Does anyone have any suggestions. I don't like how a bra looks on a car. Thank you.

PS - I am very excited and I am glad I joined this forum.

congrats....driving in the snow can be done you just need a dedicated snow tire such as blizzaks.

do a search for a product called "clear bra". obviously won't stop bug splatter but it will protect the paint underneath.

also check out the Northeast forum here and the ECZA(east coast Z association)

Welcome and congratZ on your Z. What colour did you buy? Manual or Tiptronic?? Have a look around the detailing forum, a good wax will help so those stupid bugs can't stick to your paint so badly.

Welcome. I'd much rather deal with bugs than the snow.
