I'm going to try to come in for a visit around Thanksgiving sometime, or if that doesn't work out I'll shoot for New Years. I'll keep an eye out and see if you guys have any events going on when I'm around.

I purchased it from Nissan South in Union City, but I actually started my buying process with carsdirect.com. I typed in what trim level, options on their site and then they called within 30 minutes. We discussed options and I gave them a list of colors by priority - PPW being #1.

They tasked one of their member dealerships in the ATL area to do a search and within another 30 minutes, they found the car. Nissan South did a swap for the PPW with one of their in stock Zs, flatbedded the car to their location, called me when it was delivered and I went and signed the papers.

The price listed on the site was the price of the car with no hidden fees when i showed up at the dealership. Price (before trade and TTL) was $28,424 (Enthusiast, no side airbags, MT, minor options).

The whole process took 36 hours. I hate the whole dickering process and maybe I could've gotten a better price if I did, but for me it was no fuss and a straightforward deal.

YMMV.

Just kidding - I'm originally from N'awlins (LOL) and I lived in Lafayette for about 8 years.
Yeah, I lived in Lafayette, too, for about 4 years right out of high school while attending USL.

I miss all the good Cajun food - boiled crawfish, etoufee, shrimp gumbo, boudoin, "dirty" rice.
