I got me a new Z
I figured I will introduce myself.
For a while I had been drooling over the new C6 Vette. Personally, I thought Chevy nailed the styling on that, and of course the performance speaks for itself. I had also always liked the 350Z, and the fact its a genuine sports car, that is affordable. The more I thought about it, the more I realized, that I had no business owning a Corvette or spending $45k+ on a car.
So I began my search for a Z. I found exactly what I wanted up at Daytona Nissan, a San Marino Blue Touring with 6sp, aero package, and frost interior. I emailed them, agreed on a price, and I drove up from Miami the next day, Sunday and picked it up. I have never had a better new car buying experience in my life. I doubt I will ever deal with dealers down in Miami again after the experience I had up there. It was worth the drive, not only for what I saved, but the experience as well. PM me if you would like the names of the guys I dealt with.
On the ride home, no issues...the Z was much more comfortable on the highway than I expected. I havent driven it otherwise since I got it home.
Mods will come down the line in the form of exhaust, maybe brakes, and wheels, but nothing major.
I also have a 06 RSX Type S (winding to 8100 RPM never gets old and 29 mpg to boot) and an original STOCK 91 Sentra SE-R which is currently getting repainted.
Hope to learn more about my Z and enjoy the forum!
