And its tru?? You really don't have to give it gas in reverse to get it to go?? Is that similar with first?? I'm still trying to get the hang of take offs.

man... you are young... and this is your first manual... Have you ever DD a RWD car either? To me this is a bad combo. the Z with it's 306hp rear wheel drive setup, is something to be respected and requires maturity and responsibility, especially with it being a 6spd.
You have to be able to control your self, and take it easy on the gas during take off or turns, even more so when it's wet. Please, if you are buying this Z, don't floor, for at least 3 months... just get to know the rest of the car and figure out how to drive a stick. If you do this, you will be ok, but then again, telling a 20 year old male driver to lay off the gas in a 350z is like telling a fat kid to put down the XboX controler and stop eating candy and go mow the lawn.

haha trust me, im 20 but im responsible. i dont want to race this car for a LONG time. i got a mazda i can push around for fun once in a while if i get bored.
its my first DD, my first RWD, and my first stick. Im going to be taking it super super slow, thats why I came here for tips on driving it normally. not racing. I dont even want to know how to burn out, drift or launch. I just want to drive in the city without stalling.

I have only drivin my Z for 2 days. No shot am I going hard on it. I'm taking off slower then anyones grandparents. I'm still trying to learn take offs and shifting into 2nd. It's really diferent then my last car. It seemed alot easier in my other car. I guess I'm not use to the trq. I had the hp from my last car. I'm gettin the hang of it. But I don't let the car start going till I'm in 2nd. I hate driving in first. I ***** first gear so much. I'm not too comfortable with it. And I'm not comfortable with the feel for it yet. But it's comin to me.
I tried to let it roll out of my garage without giving it gas and it does roll on its own. I think thats sooo cool. You gotta be slow wit it. In my civic the 2nd it hits that point it stalls. So I'm still in shifting mode with the Z as if its my civic. So thats probly y I'm havin a bit of a prob. Otherwise its amazing.

Most kids under 22 don't drive worth sh*t. Most think every red light is a drag strip. The ones that have seen that Fast and the Furious usually think they live in a constant F&F world and everyone's out to race and beat them.
I get annoyed daily during the summer by kids that try to race me, and when I continue normally, they call me a ***** and tell me my car is slow.
I'm paying for my car, I don't run the risk of getting tickets or damaging parts which will take even more of my money. Kids need to learn to be smart and realize driving is a responsibility that shouldn't be taken lightly.
If it was illegal for parents to buy their kids car, this world would be a much better place. And the sales of bicycles would skyrocket.
