Any truth in the rumor that the 2005 was the best year for the 350z? Or is this based on insufficient data from 2006 and 07 units. From what I've heard or read the 03 mt (not the auto) had plenty problems, as usually the 1st year had the most problems. The 04 got better and then the 2005 got the better than average reliabilty rating. The 06 had some oil burning problems, fixed in 2007.

Is the 2005 350Z on average the most trouble free year? On this forum taking a small census.

There is no doubt that the 2007 306bhp engine is the best so far.

I never buy a year one car and only look at year two following year one's reviews and analysis. I'm in no hurry to buy a car with problems.

I mean it's not like daddy bought me the car without asking me what to buy me.
