Default FINALLY: New 350z owner (35th)

After shopping around for about six months I decided the end of December was the best time to buy.

2005 35th Anniversary with 28k miles.

Previously I owned an Eclipse GSX and my daily driver was a 4dr BMW M3 Coupe (auto).

I love this car! It feels so responsive, especially being stock.

Now the real fun begins, mods! Going to the track next month to get stock times in AC and 1/4. The dealership is detailing it for me next weekend so I will take some better pics when its all cleaned up.

I hate it when people use this term "for the money" the 350Z is one of the best Real Sports Car deals available. The design styling, handling, sporty interior, and performance rival cars costing much, much more. Though its always been less then of the Vette or Porsche, its always been considered a RSC bc of its above mentioned attributes. The 350Z gives you real bargain for your money and by sells its gives real customer satisfaction.

I really enjoy my 350Z or any Z-car that I've owned or driven, except the 260Z, thats another story.

Enjoy your Z, I can't wait to see other pictures. I really like those 5 spoke factory mags. I have the 7 spoke, 17" fms.

I paid $23,500 w/ 28k miles on the car.

As far as DSM's I've had both 1g and 2g. My favorite car was my 95 Talon AWD. It was yellow w/ a 99 GSX body. I was pretty active on the dsmtuners.com forums. You can check out my DSM info here:

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/memb...old-29044.html

I wanted either a track edition or a 35th. I was extremely happy to find this black on black Z within 200 miles of me. I had been looking all over the nation for one and missed 2 or 3 already!

And a special thanks to my350z.com for help getting organized and up to speed with the 350z community! I look foward to being an active member in the Z community! Have a good 2008 everyone!

Thats why I wanted a track or 35th so bad... I had to have those Brembo brakes! So yes I love them.

Thanks for the heads up, I will look into that. I plan to do a lot of work to this car over the next couple of years. I will be using it as my Auto Cross and track car as well as weekend driver.

*Speaking from my old DSM tuner days but do you know if steel braided break lines and drilled and/or slotted rotors work well with with these brakes? Or should I just leave them alone?

I have a laundry list of things I want to do to the car and before I start asking questions on the forums I need to do some more reading. But if you have any suggestions for me please email me at: eagleracer70@msn.com.

My end goal is 400hp+, 12.9 1/4 or less. I am likely going to put a 75 shot on the car once I get some initial mods done and some runs at the track in.

Thanks so much again for the support!
