Are We Extinct???
I have blacked out headlights..

Now I'm looking for eyelids and a front lip.
Bout the lights.. I can see perfectly at night even though the chrome is painted. It didn't affect the lights at all.

z350boy,
People must mistake your car for a porsche a lot huh?
If you mold in the headlight covers to your bumper...people will definitely think that it is a Porsche!
it don't look toooooo bad.

Blacking Out Headlights
Check this page out.. it'll help you blacking out your head lights. But this dude left the chrome on some spots by covering it with masking tape. If you don't want the chrome..just don't put no masking tape on it. My bro-in-law had to spray-paint it twice due to the paint cracking and it has not cracked so far again...and its been a couple of months. The paint cracked because he forgot to do something...I forgot.

You know - they only made like 350 Competition Yellow Mica RX7's and they are now the most sought after of the colors... just because they are rare. I'm personally not a HUGE fan of yellow, but that doesn't mean I dislike it either! Later in life, it may increase in value.
I'm like 22 seconds from Belle-vegas. Never seen a Yellow one.

I swear to myself keep it as stock as possible externally except wheels and focussing in suspension and engine...

Welcome Bumble Zee. You own the car, you drive, it doesn't matter what anyone else's opinion is of the colour, if you love it, it rocks!!!
I personally love the bright yellow, my S15 was Sunburst Yellow. Unfortunately there was only one yellow 350 came into New Zealand. So rally in the fact you have something a little rare, even in the US, and enjoy it to the maximum, oh and watch out for the cops.

bumble z---blacked out tails would look SOOO good on your car. however--skip the ebay lens covers, don't DIY with vht nightshades. have it professionally done and clearcoated. had it done on my prelude and it looks good. only cost 100 bucks for both. just find a decent paint/ body shop that has done it before. basically they just mix in a little black with clearcoat and spray away. also make sure they wetsand your your lenses with a high grit sand paper (2000 grit) before painting them
