I shipped my Ford Exploder to Florida out of pocket for 2100 and had the military pay to ship my 350Z because they insured better. My z got damaged but my claim was approved in 1 week. They changed how they do POV claims and it's a lot faster now. If I payed to ship my Z I would have had to pay a lot more to get decent insurance. BTW I had no rust and I worked near the pier for 3 years. Washing is authorized.

I lol'd.

How much was your claim for? I think I'm in a different boat than most people as far as amount being claimed. They (American Auto Logistics) won't even respond to letters from my unti's JAG rep. My next step is straight up legal action.

2K they destroyed my front bumper, ripped off my lower splash guard and fried some fuses.

Claims are all handled by Personnel Claims Unit, Norfolk.

They tell you not to claim through AAL now.

Who are we supposed to go through? When I went through the process all the paperwork was sent to them. I got the response from them that they would only pay for 2 things, the scratch on my bumper and they'd pay to replace my aftermarket exhaust with a stock one (which makes no damn sense).

All in all, they dented the **** out my muffler, scrathed my bumper, and ripped on of my Recaros (VERY expensive to fix... like just over $3900). I have PROOF of my exhaust before shipping (I had pics and video taken the day I shipped), and proof that my car was fine before shipping and butthurt after. They said my warranty would cover the seat... I told Mitsubishi that and they

I went through www.jag.navy.mil and clicked the claims tab on the right. I know your not Navy but they may end up being the same office or they maybe they can guide you in the right direction. I can try get a number for you tomorrow.

I think that I've made up my mind on bringing the car but still not sure on the TT kit or not? I don't think that it will pass Hawaii's strict inspections.

In the words of Borat "Where do you keep pu$$y magnet","Is it possible to install Pu$$y magnet onto a different car"? That movie was funny the first time I watched but that was it.

No problem the way I see it is, it was never really my thread to begin with...It belongs to Bill Gates like everything else in this country.

I actually Can't believe that tonight on the news they declared Blu-Ray the clear winner over HD. Now i'm going to have to buy a PS3 for Christmas

Get a 360.

BTW, don't worry about passing the inspections. It's not as bad as people make it out to be. Just make sure your suspension isn't dumb stiff (like mine... I failed recon). Also, don't worry about safety... there's places you can go and pass with flying colors regardless of mods (like me having no cat).

OT again but in reguards to the claim I get my cash today. 13 days is all it took from when I emailed the estimate.

OP get your Z properly tuned and all before you go to Hawaii that way you don't have to worry about it here.
