Default Yo!

So about a year and half ago, I was bitten by the track bug and have been wanting to go faster ever since.

Well after going back and forth internally between selling my Z and buying a new Corvette (is that word a bad word on this site?), I've decided to keep the Z and turn it into a track car.

Mods so far include (and have been on the car for awhile), Megan Coilovers, Hotchkis Swaybars, NISMO CAI, NISMO spoiler, and 19 inch wheels. I tried to attach a pic...hopefully it worked.

I'm going to order a big brake kit soon (next 2 weeks) and I've talked to Alex at On A Dime and he has a good deal on Wilwood/On A Dime package, does anyone currently run this set-up?

Also, (and I will search the forums) any advice on the "right" header, test pipe, cat-back combo?

I guess this is enough for my first post...later!

Matt

I would forgo any of those mods and get your suspension, brakes and rims sorted out first.

- ditch the rims, go smaller
- get some brakes
- alignment dialed in
- seat
- rear diff
- driving lessons

Welcome Matt. Head back to the main page, check out the "suspension" and a few of the other sub-forums.

You've come to the right site for good directions and maybe even more info than you need. (Can you really be given too much info?)

Good luck and have fun.
