Default Picking up my '07 tomorrow

Hey all. I plan to get pretty active on here now that im officially picking up a 350z tomorrow. This seems like a pretty cool place.

quick question, what are the best aftermarket parts to put on a 350 to improve gas mileage? Ive heard exhaust, cai, and headers.... but ive also heard that these couldnt possibly improve since they add power.

anyone notice a difference? thanks in advance.

Stock, it get great gas mileage.
Search some threads, depending on city or highway, 18-28 mpg is legit.
If your really concerned about gas mileage, you may have purchased the wrong car. I'm sure other members will chime in on mod's, and if this increased mileage.

you can't really IMPROVE your gas mileage by adding things like exhaust and intakes, like Jason said, if your worried about gas mileage you may have picked the wrong car. From what I've compiled, HFC's or test pipes and exhaust are the best for added HP on the HR.

i thought the dual stock intakes yield the most power.....i think in general, i/h/e mods untuned do not yield "noticable" gains that you are looking for....the HR is already a very strong motor....and yes, you shouldn't pick the z for gas mileage.....i mean you can short shift through the gears, and cruise, but you could do that in any car, so it wouldn't seem right to drive the z like any other car, lol....either way, welcome!! you're gonna love it!
