Thanks for the details! One more question: Offsets?

I'm sorry I real dumb there....If you really want to know, I could make a call real easy....let me know....
I bought these rims and tires 2nd hand....didn't ask about offsets cause they were on a white Z before me.....paid 2500 no tax, rims and tires....in Canada, it would have cost 7500 bucks new, so I was somewhat joyous. I know you likely would get em cheaper in the U.S. I knew a guy on another forum who said he could get me new rims the same for 250 a piece, rubber a grand. Here they are a grand a piece for rims, and 7 or 800 a tire-yikes. I'll stop rambling....

No problem, any info you can provide would be helpful. I like the look of your setup, and would like to emulate it as closely as possible.

Also, I heard that using the Eibach kit is hard on your shocks/etc. Has this been your experience?

thanks everyone. I'll make a call about the offsets early next week Magna750. Yes, I was told by a reliable source (their personal experience) that after going with the drop to expect a need for new shocks. His experience was 3.5 years. I'm happy with that and will get some Koni yellows at that time. It's been several months, and my shocks are fine so far.

Great! I would appreciate that.

Thanks for the insight about your shocks. Your strategy sounds perfectly reasonable, and I will probably do the same.

I called about the offsets. There are several, and I can only get my offsets by taking the tire off and looking at the imprint of the rim. I'll be getting my exhaust in the next 2-3 wks I hope, so when I get it put on , i'll ask em to write it down.....

Those are my favorite rims for the Z other than the OEM 07/08 rims.
