If you want a spacer I would go with MotorDyne Plenum. Tony has awesome customer service and he can get you a great deal on a spacer.

Nice ride, and I love the color!

A Pop-charger is a nice mod that is very easy to do. Certainly a good place to start.

I did the popcharger first, and really like it. I'm sure there's a million opinions, but I'm new to this site so can't quote any threads. I'd go with plenum or exhaust, headers...etc
Here's a couple of replies from experienced guys from the old site I was on that is no more.....(I'm cringing for critisism now): PS, i watched 3 different guys blow their engines with FI over a couple of years on the other site.....

Hope this helps...

.......you can't beat FI as far as power but the cost is high.a popcharger, exhaust (true duals), spacer (motordyne), pulley (UR or KJR) will net you around 25-30whp. for around $1650. we're not even getting into cams and headers yet...it all depends on what you want. best bang for the buck if definately supercharger...but do you...or are you will to shell out 6 grand for your car? plus tuning? plus better brakes (A MUST unless you want to find out the hard way that the stock brakes can't hold up to the new power)...a proper set up will run you $9K...easy. plus there is no gaurantees that going FI would be safe. The VQs rods are so thin that heavy boosting would rip them apart. so there's more $ thrown into engine reinforcement. going N/A is more expensive when looked at with a power to dollaer ratio. but it's defiantely waaaay safer. it's up to you. either you:1)Supercharger=+100whp$6000 for supercharger$500 for dyno time and tune (at least)$600 for stop tech stage 2 brakes$1500 for installationtotal=$8600=a more powerful and better stopping machine @ almost 400 hp to the flywheel.2)N/A=+40whp$100 popcharger =4whp$700 header =13 whp$1100 exhaust =8whp$1200 cams =15whp$265 plenum spacer =13whp$170 crank pulley =7whp$1100 coilovers$300 swaybars$1000 stickier tires$600 stoptech stage 2 brake kit(note that you don't add all the whp togther like 4th grade math)$2000 installation total=$8553=327-340hp at the flywheel that stops on a dime and corners like it's on rails. the more COMPLETE car....the choice is yours.

Here's a reply to that - not arguing or anything, but you have to remember that most people that add the supercharger add it usually to finish the engine. in doing that, they usually have most of the N/A mods theyre going to get. plus, stillen has a higher boost pulley out now which lets the S/C pump out 143 flywheel hp / 117 wheel hp. so with that being said, most people that go / are going supercharged can quite easily push roughly 450 hp. yes, its going to cost you out the ***, but youre going to have one badass machine in the end.

again...if you can justify the cost then of course go with the superchrager. it will definately pump out more hp than any n/a mod. but if you want big power you will need beefier internals since the vq35de has VERY thin rods. internal work will definately cost you at least 2 grand more...want your engine to go BOOM? pump out 450whp+ on the stock engine and watch it go BOOM.

another thing is having a 'badass machine' means you need to put the power down properly. a lightly modded 350Z beat out a vortech superchraged Z in a circuit track simply because of traction issues. the suspension, drivetrain, and brakes NEED to compliment the car...or else you'll just have a rocket to work with and not a F15 fighter plane.

here is a page i was bored and looked up a bunch of products online...

For four grand you can do

Intake.
spacer.
headers.
cats.
exhaust.
clutch/flywheel.
crank pulley.

^^ thats just for parts no install costs factored in...
Of cource cams are next after this and after that would be a total motor build but thats not in a 4 grand budget.
If you wanted cams in the 4 grand then take the clutch/flywheel out of the list and you should be able to do cams instead.

Once you do all that your gunna need a computer to tune it all in to maximize the power your getting. you could do greedy emanage ultimate for like 600ish or UTEC for 950... I hear UTEC is best but thats just opinion..

If your spending 4 grand you could just skip all this and save up another 3 and go Super charged... there are a bunch of brands to choose from. Guiles has stillen and he knows someoene that has a differant brand so he can give you an opinion on both.

If your not interested in forced induction the set up i listed above is "ideal" for spraying NOS... and again if you do that your gunna need a computer to tune everything in just right.

Again i cant stress how much you can do with 4 grand... you can totaly change the car into a street racing monster with that money. expecialy if you want to go with a NOS set up. Guy on here got 100 WHP with a 75wet shot...

That's lucky to have found one with lowish mileage.
