I just want to introduce myself. I own an evo but I have always been a fan of the z since it came out. I really like this forum so I thought I'd join. Hope I don't get flamed for owning an evo.

As much as the evo and sti are performance oriented, they are also just as practical with 4 doors, large trunk, and plenty of leg room. However, the 08 sti is a bit of a miss.

Hello. There shouldn't be anybody here giving you crap for any car other than a Z. If they do, then they are just ignorant. IMO, Evo's are sweet looking. I was on the brink of getting an Evo, but opted for the Z. If I have to do it all over again, I might have to pic the Evo for practicality. Either way, I'm an enthusiast of sports car.

 

You forgot the mention AWD. Pretty handy when the road are covered in slush, snow, or ice. I have a couple SUV's for that (and other reasons) but they are not nearly as fun to drive as the EVO.
