900 Mile Qualitative Review: 08 350Z
LOL this car is so &%$#ing impracticle. The interior really gets hot in the summer. I have to borrow my parent's cars because nothing fits inside
. I can't take more than one person anywhere. I don't even want to think what she is going to be like in winter. Compared to my 31+ mpg rsx she is thirsty.
In another words she's perfect
.
I wanted a true sports car and I got one. I love driving the car and having a two seater. The 350Z really fits what I feel life is about for me right now. The sound of the engine, the way you can just cruise, RWD>FWD, the car feels so planted compared to my RSX. I love only having to use 2500RPM to get around town. Coming from an RSX I really enjoy low revs on the higway.
Performance wise I have no comments as I have not pushed or AutoXed the car yet. I will say I have a respectful fear of this car since since I have no saftey net of traction control. I also have never owned a car with this much power or RWD.
Repair wise I had to have the passenger window adjusted becuase water was leaking in. O'Brien Nissan (for NJ people) took very good care of my car.
As for modifications we'll see. A some point in the future I would like to purchase a set of scales and contribute a definitive weight loss guide to the 350Z community.
Thats it for now.

Sir, you are totally correct in your analysis of the RSX vs. Z. I just traded in my Type-S for an '08 base 6-speed, and I frickin' love it! I had simple mods on my Type-S, but no forced induction or Hondata. I love the Z. It plants and just drives better than my coilover-equipped RSX.
Honestly.
haha mine is my DD, its fun in nj. Last year I only parked my car for one day. It was my first winter with rwd but I managed. I did drive it in snow and survived. The other day it was 35 out and snowing and was pretty slippery but gotta just take it easy. I absolutely love it heh. Where in nj?
