Default Need Help!

Hey just signed up and was need some answers if anyone has them. I got my Z back in May and i wanna do stuff to it. My first question is what kind of intake should i get? Cold air or Ram air? And what kind with I get the most performance from? Thanks

this has been asked hundreds of times and could easily be found using the search feature.

.. feelin generous this morning. if you have an 03-06 I would just get a K&N drop in air filter or a JWT pop charger, save yourself the money, there is little to be gained here. the stock intake tube is as good as any others for the most part. you won't find large gains. most CAI's nullify any power gain by the amount of bends and length of the pipe.. nismo CAI's actually create a loss. :/

if its an 07-08, people are reporting some nice gains with injen dual CAI's.

Intake doesn't yield much hp on the Z... you should invest in these... superior braking power + a swooosh sound!
