thanks.
I've already got that covered. payments are 260 a month and whatever i have leftover from work goes right to my savings account for a place to live while in college. my parents have always said they'll pay for me and my sisters education no matter where we get accepted so i don't have to worry about that.
Saving and now finally 16 and "purchasing" a $16k car? Wat?? When did you start working and what's the legal age to work? Sorry, but something's "off" with the whole thing.
Lol. Yah, exactly. Loan officers would laugh in his face being that he's 16 and that he doesn't have credit. I wonder if he can cover insurance, gas, and maintenance as well as the loan his parents got for him.
damn guys, its not like i just walked right in with 16 thousand in cash and paid for the car.
i got it for 16,500 including, tax, title, registration etc. put 3000 down and i have more than enough left to pay for insurance (I'll admit my parents are paying for half the insurance) considering i'm only a sophomore in high school i don't have any bills to pay except for this now so paying for this isn't a big deal.
I'm mainly driving to school and work so gas isn't a problem either, its not like this is a v12 truck.

First HP congrats and the car and I really mean that. Second PLEASE be cautious and don't be like these young punks who acts like a race car driver in the Z. The Z is an awesome car but time and time again we see young street racers crashing and killing themselves or others. So once again congrats on the car and continue working hard for what you have you will appreciate it more.
i believe he could have bought his Z... maybe not got the loan by his self.. but making payments and stuff... VERY possible..
when i was 18 i had the car i have now.. i was making over 400rwhp..
granted the car and everything i had in it it was still cheaper than the Z he bought... to know how to do that, and how to install the parts, etc... and actually do it.. most 18 19 20 year olds wont do stuff like that.... i just love how all the older guys around my area think my car is slow JUST because i am only 20 and still a kid.. ive put bus lengths on almost every one of them... only got 2 more left.. one i cant get to race for ****, and the other ones cari s usually broken but wants to race..
i believe him he has it... and he is making the payments.. i dont believe he got a loan in his name **only**..
congrats man..

Young Noobs to the rescue!!! Almost on cue!!!
Congrats on your purchase. I encourage you to check into your local SCCA and learn more about your and your car's abilities thru autocrossing and/or track days with instructors at local road courses. I did it with my 300ZX and my 350Z and I benefited tremendously from it-not only driving my Z but also my daily driver.
Enjoy the ride.
