Default What do you think?

Just wanted to get some thoughts on my Christmas present...

http://www.citymotorsgreensboro.com/...etails=4856880

The dealership didn't do a great job in the description. It's a Grand Touring w/o navigation with just under 17k miles and they let it go for $20,418.

I agree with all the posts about the S2000 antenna and went ahead and replaced that. I want XM and an ipod connection so I need to replace the Bose, but I do not like the aftermarket look. Because this is a weekend toy I dont want to drop a ton of cash, even though I love what some of you have done with CarPCs and DVD screens. If possible I would like a double din in the cubby and hide the ipod in the armrest. Then I can just put a couple of pockets in the dash where the radio was. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I am new to this forum, but not new to being a Z owner. Past Z cars have been a Silver '81 280ZX, Gold '82 280ZX, Maroon '90 300ZX and Black '95 300ZX TT. Still have a Blue '82 280ZX.

Doesnt grand touring just means same as touring just with Brembos? Nav is an option for either.

Yes Red Bull, you are exactly right. GT does mean 18 inch front & 19 inch rear RAYS along with the Brembo brakes. Navigation is an option. At least that is what the Nissan sales brochure that came along with the car says. I think I will take their word on it!

Very nice car. I bought the same car a few months ago only in Silver. Mine had 21k miles and I paid $20K for it. To be honest, I like your Black much better than the Silver. Mine did have a clear bra installed which is nice.

I face the same iPod issue. I've decided that I'm going to get one of the iPod adapters and install it in the Bose system. If you do a search you can find good information on it. I think the adapter units are a bit over $100 and will allow you to use the steering wheel controls to have limited control of the iPod. I'll either run the cord from the storage bin under your elbow, or from the cubby where the Nav would go. I also think I'll install a Laser Interceptor and put it in the cubby as well.

You are going to love the car.
