Hey guys...just joined! Thought I'd say HI!
My hubby bought me an 06 for Christmas, had a great big red bow on it. Been wanting one for a while now, been looking all over for the best deal and he found this one with only 10k miles on it, think it has every option on it except navi & the brembo brakes..and chrome wheels (which I want to be my first mod). Has the dove leather interior with the heated seats which is AWESOME! It's Daytona Blue with a blue top. Just LOVING it, I still can't stop smiling when I drive it...must look like a moron,lol...anyway, here are some pics:

congrats and welcome. I'm sure we all had that stupid smug look on our face while driving the Z around for a while. I still look forward to driving mine each day.

I would start with removing the Farr Motor co advertising on the back.

I'd rather see a Z on stock 06+ wheels then any variation of chrome wheels, but that's just me. You can sell your stock set up for 800+ though, so it would cover a lot of whatever you choose to buy.

Yea that was the first thing I did...remove the sticker...It's gone! Then I used the clay bar on it because I dont think it was EVER waxed...then I waxed the whole car and it's been raining non stop here, so i couldn't get new pics..

I heard somewhere that they stopped making the Daytona Blue color..true?

Ya know before I joined I typed in 350z Forums in google and a few came up...I just one another and it totally sucks. It's like no one is even on the site. So I joined this one and it's sooo much better. The other one is like a joke...like no one has posted on it in a while..weird cause it has alot of members. Oh well...glad I joined here. Off to look at the forums...
Still have alot to learn, the place we got the car from showed me how to put the top down,lol..I forgot..and being it's an auto it's cool...but I still hafta learn how to use the paddle shifter thing..if that's what it's called,lol. I am new to the Z's...so forgive my ignorance.
The Daytona in the background is what I drive daily..so I am used to a truck.

We should talk about your wheels though. There are some very
reasonable aftermarket choices for you to explore. Aside from
"chrome" - which is doable, what are you looking for?

 

this forum has a ton of knowledge....big rule of thumb is to use the search function...if u have any further questions u could pm any of the mods or even myself, i/we would be more than willing to help...

Friend of mine has an 08 Z and has 20's on it, I believe they are staggered..but they fit in the wheel wells just right. I'd probably like to go with 20's...unless people have had problems with em? Dunno...also need to tint the windows, I feel like I'm on display BIGTIME! lol

Congrats! But please do not put stock chrome dipped wheels on there. If you want the chrome look, please look at Volks RMC or another high end polished wheel.

Those are gorgeous!!! Yea I wont cheap out, I mean my hubby paid cash for my Z...so I am going to take my time and get the RIGHT set of wheels on her. Not just looking to throw a quick set on so it looks good, know what I mean? I am in no rush..but those are SWEET!
