New on this forum of course as ya'll can see. gettin a Z in about 4 months. i am only 17 (turning 18 in march) (dont flame cus im young, you dont know me). i dont rely on parents for my **** i have worked on cars to earn my money in order to buy my cars. most of the work i do is car audio, learned from my dad who is a mechanic and i love car audio. I (and i mean all by myself) have bought an 87 maxima, 99 accord, 87 fc, 86.5 mk3, 92 s13, and recently a 90 s13. i love cars and love to learn what i can about them. have been wanting a Z33 for a while but the s13's took me over it instead. but now im bored of the s- chassis and i am selling my 90 s13 and i am gonna buy a Z33 finally. i am just introducing myself and hopefully make a few friends and of course i am learning what i can about this car right now. glad to say i cant wait till i get the keys to my new car on my own. its a good feeling man =]. anyways, thats about it. hope to get to know some of you guys and probably attend some meets perhaps?

just gave age to maybe show some ppl that even a teenager can be achieve purchasing his own car without his parents or that some may be more mature then others and to just put it out there so ppl know a fact or two about me.
also i can understand being flamed upong for a thread like such. however, i wouldnt start a thread titled like that. maybe just say i purchased one and that any help or info about the vehicle would be greatly appreciated.

Not to disrepect or be a d***, but if you have to say how mature you are, then you're not as mature as you think you are. By the time you reach my age, you'll most likely agree.

Also we find it annoying (me especially) when a kid does think this is some epic accomplishment worthy of everyone's attention. Wow you can afford a $600 a month car payment. You make at least $600 a month. That's not impressive.
What WOULD be impressive is a 17 year old, paying for his car, living by himself while working through school paying for the roof over his head, medical bills, food, gas, insurance. I'd be impressed by that. Making a car payment? Not so much.
