i hope this is in the corret forum area. if not mods please moce. anyways jgregory124 is a member on a NC forum that im on, and saw this and figured i'd join. i dont have a 350z yet, but i have the next step down. i have a 240, but im not one of the mad tyte jdm drifters. names Brandon, im 19, im currently in school for business marketing. heres some more about my 240.

plans for the car:

-get OEM side skirts and rear lip.
-full exhaust(tho it sounds AMAZING right now IMO)
-black 'racing seats'
-redo the interior w/ new seats, carpet, dash w/ digital speedo. rear seat delete, possibly fiberglass a 2 12" sub box where the bottom of the backseat belongs.
-gloss black paint
-roll QP's and move wiring harness
-minor KA mods
-RB swap when my KA dies

then i got rid of the rising sun, and the green that i didnt like. and added the front lip.






soon after that, the car had been slid on the wheels on the car. so the rear wheels were SHOT! so i took them off and put the sportmaxx's on the front on the rear and put the s13 SE's on front.

but now the SE's are gone. and i have all 4 match sportmaxx's on the car. sorry im not a photographer by any means. haha

Welcome! Its refreshing to see a 19 year old without a 350z that his mommy/daddy bought for him. Your 240 is a bit rough, but youre 19, so no flames from here, its a work in progress (at 19, I was rockin' "tom and jerry" AKA left foot/right foot). Good luck on getting the 350/370 or whatever.... and stick around.

thanks guys. its actually not black, its primer but im getting the wheels powder coated the same colors, and getting it painted gloss black with my tax/school refunds. and yeh, i figured the flames would be coming.


and i only wish my mom would spot me some cash, i need brakes! haha

 

Good deal man, I started on 240's, went through THREE of them before I had my Z. SR Swap, CA swap, and stock one that blew up on me.

Keep your head up because I was able to buy my 350z at the age of 20 through my credit union... I'm not sure if I'm any good at giving credit advice but I just got a few credit cards at 18 and paid/charged them... kept a solid bank account and solid job, wasn't even making much money at the time... i think when I bought my Z I was only around $14.50/hr.

 

i agree some people on here bash on other peoples cars and like to brag about there 600hp twin turbo z it's nice to see other rides especially from younger members i'm done i don't wanna jack this thread nice car OP i hope you can get that rb swap

awesome. i'd love to be able to get one. but im 19 in school, and working a lame retail job. but my 240 doesnt give me problems, tho i actually care for it instead of trying to go and try to drift it all over the place.
