Default 03 Silver Enthusiast

Hey everyone. Just had an 03 enthusiast automatic (with the manual up shift and down shift so it's not that bad) land in my lap. Was looking at an 04 S2K when my wife's 17 year old nephew lost his job and couldn't afford the Z. Well the Z was financed in his grandmothers name. The grandmother approached me and asked if i would be interested in taking it out of her name and pick up the payments. I honestly wasn't really interested. Didn't want to get in the middle of a family dispute and what not. That and the car had some exterior issues. He had backed into a truck in a parking lot with a trailer hitch and put a whole in the bumper, and also some minor scratches. Well my mother in law said that her insurance would take car of it all. So i said what the hell. Why not. Took over payments on the car and a week later i ended up leaving for Iraq with the National Guard. I ended up falling in love with the car though. I am VERY glad i didn't go with the S2K now. The Z has it beat in all catagories. Namely the wife liked it more. She didn't have problems getting out. She almost fell out of the S2K with her heels on when we were test driving it. lol. So i am in iraq right now missing my Z! One week was not nearly enough. Oh and the only mods are K&N drop in and I tinted the windows lightly.

payoff is at 12,600. Bumper has been replaced and the paint shop cleaned up the rest of the paint for me. My baby looked brand new when it rolled out. I was very happy.

Welcome and congratZ on the Z. Looks like it all worked out for you. The Z cleaned up nicely too, given what had happened.
