Well, look at it this way, that Z maybe wasn't meant to be. Keep in mind they're probably more interested in pushing 370's now.

Nissan is currently offering $2500 cash back on new 08 350Z Coupes. They are also offering a $2500 Dealer incentive (cash to the dealer for selling a car). The number of 370Zs they get on the lot is also directly related to the number of 350s they sell/have on the lot.

I used a similar method as this http://www.realcartips.com/articles/...a-new-car.html

I researched the inventory of all the dealers within 75 miles, found about 10 that had vehicles I was interested in. I called them to get the email address of the Internet Sales Manager and sent the email from that page to all of them.

They all came back immediately at invoice minus the $2500 cash back. My final deal was to get them to include their dealer incentive in the deal, so essentially $5K under invoice.

I don't believe you will get much lower than that.

Well i'm still looking, but i've up'd the ante a little to being willing to spend $25k OTD; but now for a GT. I've actually found two GT's with under 20kmiles that are listed around the $24k price tag. One dealer already told me the best he can do is the $24k plus TTT; I'm still waiting on the other dealer to call me back.

Going to have to fly and get the car if either deal goes through. Ironically they are both black (wanted red) stick(wanted Auto for wife), so if I'm successful I guess the wife will just have to learn how to drive a manual.

I'm loosing sleep at night over this, lol.

lol, just had an internet dealer tell me that there's nothing such as a 350z GT model. Idiots.

Here's the convo:

(His response)
Just for your own information you would want to look for "Nismo" there is no such thing as a GT 350Z. If there is anything else I can help you with please let me know.

Todd,

My apologies as I thought this vehicle was a GT model(Navigation, Ray's
Wheels, & Brembo Brakes). I've been shopping around, and I realize now that
my e-mail was sent in error about this car.

Apologies again & best regards,

Yeah, I included a pasted(link) picture from the Nissan site showing the GT (Grand Touring) trim level, and he still came back that I had no idea what i was talking about, and that he had a GTR, but the 350z didn't have a GT trim level.

I could understand him misunderstanding my abbreviation of Grand Touring if I didn't post the link, but it did. I thought he would get it, but I guess not.

He's selling a regular 07' Touring model(5spd), with no Nav and the 18" wheels for $25k

Some dealers were offering 10k off MSRP of all Zs in December. It is now March and you don't think you'll get much more than 7500 off?

Yes, because the year-end incentives were larger than the ones currently.

I have a different deal on the table pending now. It's for an 07' Grand Touring with 17kmiles. Blk on Blk for $25,800 OTD. I'm waiting on the finance company to approve my requested increase to $25k from the original $20k I was already approved for.

I really wanted to find a certified used car with the extended 100kmile drive train warranty, but I'm thinking that may be too much to ask for at this price range. Hopefully I will have a deal that goes through soon, so I can post some pics as an official owner!

Well for anyone who would like to know, I sealed the deal on a Z last night and will be flying out to Chicago to pick it up and drive it back to NY this Saturday. I am going to pay $5k more than I had initially planned on paying but it's for a Grand Touring, which I really wanted as I prefer to keep my modifications mild for a while.

Here's what I got:

2007 Black on Black 6-Speed Grand Touring (w/ Navigation)
17kmiles -Certified Used with 100kmi Drivetrain Warranty
$25.5k Out the door

I'll post my pictures of the car on a new thread when I pick it up Saturday. Has anyone made the drive from Chicago to NYC? Without really speeding can the trip be done in 9 to 10 hours? Google maps says 12hrs, but i've heard it's less.

Maybe now I'll go to ZDayZ :-)

I think 20k otd is not bad as long as the car has not been in a accident or had any paint work and good tires and brakes. I'm getting a 07 enthusiast for 16500 otd, but I have connections in the auto business.
