So it finally happened, i bought a Z! 05 Base model (most of you seem to dislike base) but it was $13k, clean title, has 40k miles and it looks brand new... it has 0 scratches! and since i wont be racing, i didn't really mind.

anyway, i love her, its really fun driving a Z and im really happy

I want to apologize in advance if i make dumb questions, i am quite ignorant when it comes to cars.

I want to change the rims, i want 19" black, i've done alot of research.. but i lack knowledge, i don't know much about cars, or the Z.. i've read some rims wont fit if the car has brembo breaks.. Do all Z's have brembo breaks? how can i tell if i have them?

On another note: I am also thinking about getting a front bumper and a spoiler. Was thinking about Nismo v1 spoiler and still not too sure about bumper. ill update pics if i do end up buying bumper/spoiler/rims!

 

Do your brakes say "Brembo" on them?

Congratulations. As far as questions go, you might encounter some flaming once in a while but that should not scare you off. Just learnt to use the search function. There is tons of info out there just for any topic. That way you avoid repeat threads that tend to ignite some guys

 

don't worry about it. if your breaks are gold and say brembo on them then yes, they are brembo's. But since you have the base, chances are that you have "cheaper" breaks like I also have. ENJOY THE Z!!!
