Default My 2005 Z!

Hi All! I just wanted to say hello and maybe ask for an opinion. I just bought a 2005 350Z with 5k miles on it. Thats right 5000. The previous owner barely drove it and was moving and couldn't take it along so I bought it. I am really stoked about it. It is the first car I purchased on my own. And what an amazing car it is. I was hesitant when I sat in it, being a taller guy... but once I started her up, I was sold.

So I've had it for about a week now, and have been checking out this site for about a couple weeks. I have been looking for a simple body kit. Nothing too flashy, but wanted to make it a little personalized. I was in no rush, just wanted to drive the car and eventually purchase a kit... but to great frustration... I got rear ended on the freeway over the weekend. Hopefully the damage inside isnt too bad... bumper wasnt cracked, but will need to be replaced. I now figure that if I am going to do some body work... I might as well do it now.

A weeks worth of searching all over the internet has led me to the Vertex Full Kit, since I wanted to replace the front bumper and now need to replace the rear bumper. Any opinions? Suggestions?

Vertex kit sounds good. Get what you want and like, that's what matters

Welcome to the forum. CongratZZ! Is your Z a 35th Anniversary? What colour is it? As some kits tend to look better in certain colours.

Oh, and bummer about being rear ended. Look it as an opportunity. Hoping for your sake there is only minimal damage.

It is an Enthusiast... not a 35th Anniversary. I dont need all the bells and whistles. I would rather add those on myself. The extra horsepower would have been nice, but I prefer the higher torque over 11 extra ponies.

As for the color, it is silver. Currently bone stoke, and hopefully not too damaged. I'll post pics soon.

Does anyone know if the Brake Ducts on the front bumper of a full vertex is functional or just aesthetic?
