I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I bought a pearl white touring M/T 06 350z with black interior leather with only 36k on the odometer. Will be putting up pics in a little bit. I appreciate all the help I got in the Buying/Leasing forum from all the forum members. Came here everyday looking for new info and it paid off!

 

Congrats. pearl white is an awesome color

but 36K is enough miles... my '04 is still under 20K

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yeah, I had heard about this problem before I bought it so I checked his oil to see how much was left in there. He got an oil change like 2000 miles ago and it looked like it still had the appropriate amount of oil so I figured it shouldn't be a problem unless he just put oil in it before I got there.......but its unlikely. I just drove the car around a little to get used to it and its a blast. Here's one pic I took of it with my iphone. I'll take some more high quality ones later!

I actually read all three pages of the top 100 questions thread before I bought this Z and I gotta say,its veeery informative. I had soooo many questions before I read it, but by the time I was done, it answered pretty much every single question I had.

I wouldn't be too happy on purchasing a 06 year. It has oil consumptions issue. I had an 06 with that issue and know many other 06 owners with same issue.

I have an '06 ppw as well haven't had any probs with oil consumption at all so far so good luck!
