I am soon to be a "Lambo" owner!!

 

He put the car for sale on craigslist for $16k so fishy or not I'm getting it. Always wanted a 350 and this is the only one out of two that's for sale used in the Lafayette area and I don't want the convertible so its this one, otherwise it's back to craigslist and searching the Texas area or something for another one.

 

first i was wondering.. why that Z??? then i seen ur 17 and all the highschool kids will love the ginormous front bumper and fake vents on the side of it. id take a stock base model way before that.

 

thats a bad reason to buy it.. check out the cars here on the forum. autotrader vehic local dealers ebay etc etc.

And your age is definatly reflected in your used car shopping skills. Sounds to me like you are being typically impulsive. Why would you EVER buy a car based on this? If buying a Z really ment as much to you as you say, then why wouldn't u travel a little further if it ment having a better looking car?

So you got a loan for $16 grand at 17 all by yoruself huh?? Pretty impressive!

Like I said flame all ya'll want, but I'm getting that Z because it's the best deal for me up to around Utah and I'm not into the as you call "ginormous" front bumper, and yes I would take a stock base model anyday so thanks for the input Einstein.

 

Keep searching mr vo that z u want is ugly and also there is a black one in Texas for like 10 that looks way better. I would not pay 16 for a car that looks like that. Keep searching and get a base model all stock so you can do what you want. I've had mine 4 weeks and it went from stock to one of the best looking z around here. And I haven't even put rims yet

 

Yea I know, still lookin. They got one for about 5k but I don't think it's legit. Even if I do get the 16k one, he said he would most likely go down to 11-12k for it so I'm starting to look around for parts as well. Everything's stock except for the kit, side vents, and smoked tail lights, but i'm sure I'll find a better one before halloween.

it seems the (future?) Z owners get picked on alot here... imo you POSSIBLE Z owners should wait on posting a thread on MAYBE buying a Z. after buying the car then introduce yourself as a member of our community. if you dont own a Z and you post a thread similar to this situation, you should already know your gonna get flamed. just my two cents.

 

Was already aware of the flaming from reading other posts; same as every other forum; I consider the flames as peoples own opinions so who am I to judge, but I understand what you mean.

 

i consider them as other peoples jealousy. the one for 5k is totaled thats ians. check craigs list and autotrader

But i agree with Spam, nothing wrong with positing to learn before you buy. But the "New Owners" section may not be the appropriate place for it.

 

Jealous of what?? Do you own a home, have a career, a beautiful wife, kids, are you self suficient??

It's just a car man, only kids get jealous of cars, grow up.

 

Something is probably terribly wrong or about to fail, like tomorrow if he just drops 5k on the price like that. So good luck and ooh while you're struggling to pay for the payment and insurance good luck with those maintenance costs.
