Talking Soon my first 350z

Hi to everybody,

i'm about to buy my first 350z, i was looking for a cayman S but then i decided to take one of the last "new" 350z on the Italian market. I hope i did the right thing.
I'm paying 28.000€ (38.300 USD) for a new 350z night blue with white interior, i'll let you know if it's worth the price.

I'm living in italy and maybe here we have different versions of 350z mine will be a Lev2 (xenon, leather, Bose & Navi)

Ciao
Andrè

italy abstract. italy.

andre, we do not have the same specifications as Euro models (differently named trim packages). you will love the car, I am sure. it is not over powered or that good handling of a car, but it is balanced and upgrades do worlds of good. I would suggest coilovers rims and tires to start, off the bat. expect to spend another 6 grand on these.

Then the car will be doing good.

great shifter and steering though.

Thank you for the welcome!

Well, 38k is not cheap, but i'm talking about a new car 0km/miles still without plates, so it'll be registered in 2010.
I don't know which is the price in the States but here in Europe until last year (when the 370z arrived) the price of a new 350z was not less then 60.000USD.

You will be pleased with your decision. Buy the 350Z. That way you will not be another "soon" member.

dvad,

I am not 100% here, but it sounds to me like he already purchased it. might just be a translation thing. I think he is just waiting for delivery.

Motormouth & davidv,

i'm sorry when i said "soon", i meant that i already purchased it and i'm waiting for delivery. In Italy we don't have so good english teachers
So maybe i can consider myself as a real Z member now.....

F34RL355

yes here gas costs 1,70 USD x litre (wish me good luck with 3.5 V6)

i paid 35k for a used 08 roadster few months ago
So 38k for a new one is not so bad i guess.

DemitriHKS

here some prices in Europe:

370Z= 43.701€ (59.047 USD)
Cayman S= 64.932€ (87.734 USD)
Z06= 94.690€ (127.942 USD)

Relatively speaking that is a good price in Europe. You've got a good deal for a brand new Z.. I know in one country, brand new 350Z [used to] cost 77,500 Euros for Coupe, and 79,500 Euros for Roadster without any taxes or fees.

Have fun with it.

Your English is fine. In fact better than many of our American members.

davidv

Thank you

It's almost 2 weeks that i'm waiting for my 350Z and i'm getting really impatient to drive it first time.
At the moment i still have a Mitsubishi Outlander a really comfortable car, but not exciting at all.
I have never driven a 350Z...mmm...let's hope that it wont disappoint me.
Btw when i went first time to see my car i noticed that the passenger area is pretty small....guys what's about s€x in a 350Z is there any thread about it? buahahahahaha

Wow, congrats. That is crazy, buying a car you haven't taken out for a test drive. You will love it I am sure.

Good luck with the sex part inside the Z. But I am sure you can make it work if you really try, no fat girls though.

oh it is possible. not in the driver's seat though, and even getting head is a bit cumbersome (but still great) with the high center console and low seats.

have you owned any other sports cars in the past?

illjim69

well i couldn't test the car because as i said it's a brand new 350Z without plates and insurance i asked for a drive but it was the only 350Z they had at moment, he told me if i wanted to test a 370Z (they had like 5-6 there) but i didn't do it because i think it's a totally different car.
About "no fat girls" i'll try to do my best hihihihihi

Motormouth

yeah as i see it wont be easy to baptize my new car, or at least not without troubles.
I have owned other 2 "sports cars" but nothing comparable to a real sport car like a 350Z. When i was 20 i had a Renault Megane coupè then until 2 years ago an Alfa Romeo GT (which was a great car before i destroyed it)

Coming from your Alfa (a front wheel drive car) you’re going to love your new Z. Like all purpose built sports cars the Z is a drivers car, sacrificing cup holder proliferation and bordello like cabin accommodations. Sports cars are sexy, but not necessarily the best venue for sex.

Andre, Motormouth, et al, if you concentrate on offering your dates a spirited drive in your Z and restrict your pursuit of carnal knowledge to the bedroom, I’m sure you'll attract a much better class of young lady.
